I had the chance to shoot a KSG a few weeks ago. It was nice - if it wasn't for the steep price I'd get one.

I'm in the same boat. Shot it, liked it, will get one when prices normalize.

The only thing I didn't care for was loading was somewhat more difficult than my 870 or SPX, but it holds as much as both of them combined...

Paid $800 for mine but I was on a waiting list for about 1.5 years! Overall I think it's pretty awesome if you can get it at a good price. Bad location for the strap mount. It's right next to the end of the barrel! wtf. You will shoot your strap off! It did have some misfeeds and a jam with 2 3/4" shells this past weekend. Manual says they will work but they recommend 3" shells. Maybe just user error and / or break-in period needed. Now I'm waiting for the SRM 1216.

Oh no, not the SRM. Anything but that piece of junk!

I was excited when the KSG and UTS 15 came out but they just had so many issues. I hear that both products have been "improved" but I haven't found any definitive answers yet on whether either have been fully "fixed" yet.

I'm actually more interested in the UTS 15 due to the fact that you don't need to "switch over" and can be used as a true 14+1. Every KSG vid I see they pull the trigger on an empty chamber and then switch over.

I have to dreams. One is that O'bama resigns and the other that there are no more KSG post. Guess neither will come true but it is fun to dream
