$300 mossberg 500 is a great gun and there is no import substitute for it. Ya you could save a bit on a clone but why bother when the real thing is so affordable and what roll mark would you rather look at MADE IN USA or Made in China/Turkey?

That's not true the Hawk 982 is actually better made than the domestic model. Compare the $369+ Remington tactical to the $199 model Hawk 982. I'd rather see the money roll than a USA roll mark LOL.

That Combo should be awesome for ya. Glad to see ya got something ya liked J any chance you could share the final cost with us including all the taxes and transfer fee's and such?

I wish I could have afforded it at the time I got my Defense shotty. Trap/Skeet shooting is fun as piss. I used to work at a trap/skeet club near Stockton when I was a kid.

It was $337.12 out the door. Hell of a price considering it is normally $400 plus taxes and fees.

Awesome that's cheaper than I expected. Well worth it for two barrels. Glad you found something you liked and I agree the wait for a firearm sucks Donkey nuts lol.

Sacramento Valley Shooting Center has a nice area for clays and skeet but it's a bit of a drive to Rancho Murrieta. Then there's the closer one at Cordova Shooting Center that's a decent place but not as nice as SVSS.

Concur with the advise on a Mossberg 500 series or Remington 870. Both are proven platforms with a myriad of parts/accessories (many which are utterly useless) readily available.

It's actually 11 days total so however the math works out. They should have given you some paperwork with your pick-up date on it...Love those AR style stocks btw. Can't beat the Big 5 for shotgun deals.

Don't know how many people from calguns have gotten not only shotguns but bloc country weapons from there too. I got my Wenger watch from there for like 25 bucks lol. Mossberg 500 or Remington 870. - cant go wrong. Upgrade and add more barrels and chokes as able.
