Keltec KSG - Unethical!

Kel Tec posted a letter a few weeks ago that they were increasing the price because it was named on the ban list. They are trying to make as much money in case any laws are passed.

You know, a buddy of mine has a KSG. retired LE. I dont get it. It kicks like a mule with 00 buck, kicks like a small mule with birdshot. In racking the slide one has to be very deliberate or you end up with an empty chamber. Also, the selector for the left or right tube is pretty sticky. For him it might be a novelty. Yea, I don't get it. I like my Mossy with Knoxx stock.

It's new, so people will buy. It's innovative, so people will buy. It's small, so people will buy. It's on the ban list, so people will buy. Combine all of those elements and you have a runaway hit, so people will buy.

If we manage to survive the current ban mania, expect bullpup shotguns to take the tactical shotgun world by storm. Especially in semi-auto form with buffers. That will help tremendously with recoil management.

The benefits of CQB with a short shotgun are obvious. The fact that they will likely be banned in CA means you can't wait for the next evolution of tactical bullpup shotguns. You have to buy now or never get the chance to own one. That's why they are so hot right now.
