    1 Year of Shooting Skeet

I just realized I've been shooting skeet seriously for a year now.

My first skeet clinic was 1/22/2012:
    Level - I, 01/22/2012 ..... W/ PICTURES
Giselle63, Skeptic, Rumline, Rumline gf, carlosdarwin, carlosdarwin brother, 5539, epic1856
I've progressed a lot in the past year, as of now things I've done because of skeet:
    • Attended at least 5 Level I clinics
    • Promoted to Level 2, and have attending at least 7-8 level 2 clinics
    • Started shooting "fun" shoots (Sansei)
    • Bought a high end o/u shotgun with tubes
    • bought a semi 12 g for doubles, 12 g events
    • bought 2 reloaders (12 and 28 g), looking to compete the set
    • I am now shooting Registered Skeet Tournaments, with plan to attend World Shoot.
    • Ran a 25 a couple of times, looking for 50 now.
    • Became a member at Triple Bs
    • Spent lots of $$$$

I'm still having tons of fun, but my wallet sure is taking a beating. If you haven't done so, sign up for the clinic http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=329160 Best things money can buy.

It's not cheap, but it sure is fun. You've come a long way in one year and it's a pleasure to see others enjoy a sport that I find fulfilling on so many different levels.

Coaches clinics were the key to my progressing in this sport and to my becoming an instructor as well, if anyone wants to have fun and improve their shooting at the same time, take a clinic, or two, or more, it will be the best $20 you will ever spend, guaranteed.

I gotta go get my fix now. Damn pushers.

Congrats! I have only attended 1 clinic but have been back there to shoot on my own a few times. I plan on getting more into it this year and am taking the clinic 2/10. Heading out this weekend to load up on ammo

Congrats! I always appreciate shooting with you, and knowing that I'm about seven months behind you, it shows me what I can look forward to with continued work!

Good to see you last Friday. I like the new Beretta.

I believe I've been shooting skeet since about May of 2012. I've had 5 25 straights and just got my first 50 two weeks ago. I shoot 3 rounds just about every weekend. It just goes to show what a little concentration and effort can do for you. Gotta love the sport and the people you shoot with. I got lucky and found the group I shoot with here on calguns. My type of people. Keep up the good work and keep breaking birds before they hit the ground.

Just tell your children that Jordan made you spend their inheritance.

              I'm sure they will understand.
What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?
