    Shooting clays and combat loading

So we decided to try shooting clays while combat loading. We are in no way experts, just adding a dimension of handling and weapon manipulation in one of our favorite range activities.

One person releases clays randomly while the shooter has to combat reload after each shot. Sometimes the clay would be released while I'm in the process of reloading.

As you can see I do not yet have a side saddle for my M4 so either an extra shell is in my hand or I am grabbing shells from the table that have been laid out beforehand.

Hoping I will still get to do this often!

this is a stage of a monthly shotgun event i shoot... loads and loads of fun with a pump... not so much with a break action or an auto loader

You should always load and train the same. Pistol mags, rifle mags and shotgun shells are always in the same place regardless of what your shooting that day. Just IMHO..
