To answer the original post, my girlfriend and I will each be picking up our KSGs during the last week of March 2012 (end of 10 day wait). We live in the lower half of Cali. And we paid well under MSRP for each gun.

Up here in NorCal limited numbers came and one sold for $1600!!!! Why someone would pay the same price for the KSG as the Benelli M-4 baffles me.

We were on a limited waiting list from an out-of-state distributor. I believe there was about 50 or so names from different states on that list, but it was closed and they will not take any new names. Sorry.....

We got a great deal on the guns, but with the current pricing wars, no one will match the price we got, so I'm not going to list it and cause any more turmoil. But my point was that KT is now shipping KSGs, and real people (not gunwriters) are starting to get them and they are legal to own in Cali.
