Why should I get...... Panda with a shotgun

Oh boy! If you thought you spent a lot on handguns, wait until you get into shotguns . IMHO, they are just fun as heck! Shooting clay targets is so much better than shooting stationary targets. Your standard shotguns will be the 870, 500, 590 and 590A1. Then you could get into some of the nicer stuff. But I digress. Shotguns are just a lot of fun and great for home defense.

Because They are dirt cheap. For about $350 you can get a devestating weapon capable of firing slugs, buck, and birdshot.

Because shooting a moving clay beats a stationary piece of paper any day. You aren't too far from me and we met at Oaklander's party. After the rain stops for a bit you can come with me up to the Mendocino NF for some clay shooting with my Mossy 500 and Saiga 12. Then you can decide for yourself.

I am a gun nut, I accepted this fact. I have never spent so much money on a hobby in a single year. I am more into pistols, and I enjoy rifles. I never really liked shotguns much, but they are fun to shoot.

So why should a gun nut like me own a shotgun ?

I love shotguns. I started with a 22 rifle and a 20 gauge with my grandfather and father when I was a kid. As an adult I fell in love with rifles and pistols but recently I bought a benelli m2 and had an old 870 revamped. It has reinvigorated my love for the shotgun.

Because you have to. Just like you have to have a .45 if you're going to own pistols. They're fun, inexpensive, and and extremely fun to shoot. You can really blow stuff up with them. And oh yeah HD.

I'm into handguns and precision rifles, but I own three 18" pump shotguns. I only purchased them because they were priced ridiculously low. I've taken two of them out shooting one time and put a box of shells through each. I guess I keep them for HD reasons.

You can hunt SO many things with shotguns... rabbits, quail, dove, turkey, coyotes, ducks, geese, boar, coons, pheasant, even deer! Besides, when not hunting, you can bust some clays, pound you targets with some slugs, blow up soda cans, anything!
