I'm on day three of my ten day waiting period for my Mossberg 590A1.
For additional sympathy, I'll describe it in more detail:

It's the 18.5" barrel, has 6+1 round capacity, a speed stock, and this thing that tells time.

I simply couldn't afford the shoulder thing that goes up.

My first gun was actually a single shot break-action .410 shotgun. I remember my dad taking me to the gun store down the street, which was owned by the local police chief. I might have been 14 years old or so. Pretty sure we got the cheapest thing he had in stock. The rear leaf sight was snapped off and half of it was missing. I put *maybe* half a box of shells through it before selling it 10 years later.

I always wanted a pump shotgun, even back then. This will be my first.

I also just bought a 590A1 9 shot with Ghost ring sights from Budsguns, being sent to my FFL but since I just ordered it I have weeks to wait, hope that news cheers you up some.

I'm on day 2 of my 11 day wait (gotta love Big 5) for my Mossberg 500. I picked up a Marlin 725 too while I was at it. My wife will be out of town so I can sneak them into my safe w/o her noticing, "Why, I've always had those".
