What I was calling rape was the 80 dollar charge I was quoted on the phone for a BB. Its cool that you ship to Cali, and honestly, that price of 670 isn't terrible, however, charging us in California EIGHTY BUCKS more than everyone else just for a BB is kinda crazy. Just saying.

Sorry if I offended ya, and yes, that was rude of me. I should have refrained from name-calling but I stand by my initial response of thinking that 80 bucks for a BB is stupid-expensive and taking advantage of Californians(who I'm sure make you a bit of money). Oh yeah....I didn't even mention that I was told it will take 4 weeks to install this 80 dollar BB!!!!!

Edit- Just got your PM saying that you refuse to sell me a Saiga because of my comments on the forum. Thanks, but I just started my 10 day wait on one....That I got for $644 total.

How would he have even known who you were from the forum if you called to buy? What a fail. And yes, charging $80 just for a BB installed is pretty damn high.

$80 for a BB is too rich for my blood too....

I was really interested in getting one but the prices skyrocketed during the past couple of months.....I just recently got an AR15 with the money I was going to spend on the S-12.

I never refused to sell you a Saiga?? I just told you that I was not going to discount it below our current price. Not sure why feel the need to twist things....

Congrats on your $644 find, not much inventory left at these kind of prices. The 4 weeks you were quoted is not just to install the BB...It is because I was not willing to push our other customers (complete custom guns, etc) to the back of the line just to install BBs in stock guns and I have been the only guy in the shop lately. Our shop turnaround time is about 4 weeks and that is why you were quoted that time frame. Gotta keep it fair for those who have already got their orders in....I will have some CA compliant Stock Saiga 12 ready to ship this week when my help comes back from Vacation.

Also, I think I see now where your frustration is coming from....Maybe we didn't clarify that our $80 addition to our CA guns is for the BB, install, and the shipping of the gun to CA...Not just the BB install. Our bad if we didn't spell it out well enough. $670 shipped. Sorry again for the confusion, I will make sure we are all on the same page internally, and I hope you enjoy your recent purchase.

I do agree...but, $80 for BB, Instal, and shipping to CA sounds pretty good to me.

                    Sir,
Thank you for your time to reply, and again, sorry for coming off as an A-hole. However, I still stand by what I first said. The price I was quoted on the phone(by a polite female) was 80 dollars for the BB and install and DID NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING.

I was first happy to hear about the fair base price for the gun and reasonable shipping(I believe it was 25bucks) but was so shocked about the BB price that I felt obligated to CLARIFY. I literally said, "so its 80 dollars extra JUST for a BB?" To which the reply was something along the lines of "no, its for the install too". The price I was quoted on the phone DID NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING and i'm sure of that because I clarified/repeated as did the sales person. If it really were 80 for BB/shipping you would have had my CC number right then. Hence my frustration/posts. And yes, $670 shipped is very fair.

$80 for a BB is pretty expensive....shoot i think $40 is damn expensive. And you know what sucks....you get your bullet button on your brand spankin new unconverted Saiga 12, then you do the trigger and trigger guard conversion and move it forward, and now your recently purchased $40/$80 bullet button doesnt fit anymore. So now you gotta get another bullet button for $40 - $50. Sure is an expensive shotty...but I love mines.

So how much of that is shipping, how much of it is the BB, and how much of it is the installation? Or are you charging more than you normally would just to ship to CA instead of say... AZ?

I just set a fixed $80 upgrade fee for the BB/CA compliant Shotguns to include parts, install, paperwork, shipping. Base model BB cost less than the Converted models, and Custom guns weigh more and cost me more to ship. Rather than try to quote them all individually, I went with an average/fixed cost.

Sounds like one of the girls has the fee correct, but was not correct on the fact that it does include shipping. I will go back through recent invoices and make sure they are all correct. We appreciate our Cali Customers and want to make sure they are treated right when they purchase from us.

That's good that you're looking into that to make sure your customers aren't getting screwed by an employee who may have been mis-informed, but that still doesn't answer my question. How much of that $80 is shipping, and how much of it is for the BB that's installed? What is the shipping cost for someone in a state that does not require a BB?
