I bought my folding stock 4 years ago, the butt pad is wire frame, I had my wife adapt a shoulder strap pad from a piece of luggage so that it will slip on the butt of the stock and not have all the force from the wire frame hit my shoulder in two spots.I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.Comment

All I have on my 982 is an Allen elastic butt-stock 5 shell holder, an aluminium e-bay tri-point picatinny/weaver light mount, and a Streamlight Polytac weapon light.
I prefer the stock configuration. I want my shotgun to look and feel like a regular shotgun.____________________________________

Where did you get that mag extension from? Did it install without any additional modification?
Great gun, my friend just bought one, and after cleaning out the whole thing, it is very nice indeed. All of the packing grease made the action a lot grittier, but after cleaning it out, it is a joy to play with.Comment

Max100 used to sell a +2 for the hawk982, but he dropped off the face of the earth
which forearm is that? hogue?

Sorry, these are crappy pics off my Droid:
Hawk 982 in stock config, save the Allen butt-stock 5 shell elastic holder and ebay aluminum picitanny/weaver tri-point rail with aluminum 1 inch clamp and Streamlight Polytac weapon light.
The light mount is nice b/c I'm right handed and can use my left hand to click the rear push button light on/off with ease. The left/low placement of the mount/rail/light helps keep all my accessories out of the way when I rack the Hawk.
The shell holder is stuffed with snap caps, just b/c I know someone is going to ask. The Allen shotgun belt holds 25 rounds and carries 15 buckshot and 10 slugs.
As you can see, the mount easily screws off so I can use the Polytac as a general flashlight making it extremely versatile. It will mount and screw back in place with the twist of a man's grip.
The mag pouch is just from my .40 USP and just there to prop up my Hawk and keep it from sagging down and away from my camera.
The way the tri-rail mounts both on the mag tube and the barrel makes it extremely sturdy when firing. It is a breeze to dismount to clean the barrel. Just a basic allen-head.
I don't think I will mess with adding an extended mag tube. I like it stock and reliable; and that is what the butt-stock holder is for.

Nice man and thanks for the pics. Although, to me it looks as if the tri-rail is upside down. What I mean is shoudlnt it be on the magazine itself and not on the barrel? Im not so sure but I've never see a weaver mount above the barrel like that. How much did you pick the picatanny rail up for?
As for the mag extension, I was searcing online and came across a forum that had extensions where the mag lined up perfect with the barrel. I like this one a lot and Im gonna search around for this thing.
Heres a picture from the forum.

However this place claims to make custom extensions, let us know it works out if you decide to get one:
