Notice the mention of the SHOT show booth # in the image. It's probably not for sale yet. SHOT isn't even for another couple of weeks.

Added weight probably won't be as noticeable since it's short and most of the mass is closer to you.

I hope the reason we don't see any shots of the other side is because it looks identical, right down to having dual action arms. I'm curious to see how that barrel nut works too. It does seem like they didn't plan for use of chokes initially...
Looks like in the smaller pic it looks like the sling loops at the barrel are on both sides so it may look the same on both sides. It looks pretty cool!

I have a hunch that's what he's talking about, actually.

It seems similar to the South African Neostead.
Pre-production Neostead shotgun.    Neostead parts list.    Schematic from 1993 patent, displaying the loading and unloading method ofNeostead shotgun (gun frame is drawn using dotted lines, magazines are tippedup).   Images courtesy of Neostead corp.   Type: pump-action ("forward-back" handguard movement instead of classic "back-forward", moving barrel) Gauge: 12 ( 2 3/4" – 70...

I've waited ten years for someone to start selling these. I guess I have to wait another 3 years since it's a new Kel-Tec product...just like the long promised but no show RFB Sporter.

Shotguns have never been a big thing for me, but this looks like a keeper.

                        Calling this now:

It's going to have an odd, alien feeling short stroke pump-action. Look how close the pump grip is to the pistol grip.

Holy crap-ski! Unlike the RFB, this doesn't trip any of the nonsensical CA "assault weapon" or SBS laws.

Definitely going to keep an eye out for when these hit store shelves or are available for order to FFLs. If they can keep the price down around the $700-800 mark or lower, I'll probably get one as soon as they're out.

Also, found some high res shots of it from Oleg Volk's website:

Yup. I also like the integrated rails and the ambidextrous sling loop mounts. According to what I've been able to glean, it does use the same type of "reverse" pump action as the NeoStead 2000, i.e. rack forward to clear the round, and back to chamber a new round and return to battery to fire. Also bottom ejecting, so it's perfect for north and south paws.

My question is this: is Kel-Tec's design 100% home grown, or a copy/license of Truvelo Manufacturing's NS-2000 design? If the latter, I wonder if Kel-Tec would ever license the Tavor design to manufacture here? Flip the bird to BATFE/DOJ and manufacture it here to get around the importation restrictions.
