    Just recived my Uribino Stock

Still waiting on a few more Items like my Sling, light w/mount, M80, and my full length magazine tube which should be here in January sometime. I can't wait to shoot this and see if the limbsaver helps anymore on this already light recoiling M4.

I really like the feel of the stock its a much better LOP and is built very well the only thing I don't like which is extremely minor is the stock no longer screws off I now need a tool to remove it.

How much was it? Would it fit an M1?

Is the cheek riser already adjusted to the correct height to get a proper cheek weld with the eotech? Very nice, You got pretty much every mod for the m4, how come no big bolt release button? Or it's on the way too?

I bought it direct from Mesa Tactical 2 months ago as far as I know they are the only ones shipping them as of now.

This particular stock cost $170 its there fully decked out version with the cheek riser and limbsaver butt. They come in a range from $115-170 and they come in different models to fit either the Remington, M1/M2, M4, or Supernova. So to answer your question yes they do make one for the M1.

The cheek riser has five positions from flush to full extended this is in position 3. I could still use my ghost rings if necessary and is easily adjusted by removing in this case the limbsaver and removing the cheek riser and adjusted to your prefered height. Its awsome if you have optics night and day difference I could have went higher though at the expense of my ghost sights. You know what I didn't even think about the release button and to tell you the truth I wouldn't really know where to look for one do you have any suggestions.

Edit: I wanted to add the fact that the adjustments are in roughly 3/16"-1/4" increments.

LAPD Metro guys are beating the hell out of the stock this week. If anyone can break it, they can.

I had a similar type of steel release (another manufacturer), but I actually prefer the Arredondo release. Check it out below. It works particularly well for me because it is long and works like a lever, so I found I got easier and more positive actuation with it than the large steel button version. Note the Arredondo is plastic not metal (in case that bothers you). It is very cheap but requires you to tap your existing button.

Also, thanks for the feedback on the Urbino.

Question on the cheek riser -- Do you have any pics of the stock without the cheek riser installed? Can you remove the cheek riser entirely and run the Urbino stock without it? Or does the mounting hardware/etc underneath get in the way?

You can indeed use the stock with the cheek riser removed. There are shallow rails on each side of the stock that support the cheek riser. These do not interfere in any way when the cheek riser is removed.

Looks great! Field test it yet? How difficult was it for you to swap it out w/ the original stock? You said you needed a special tool... what special tool? Was it included w/ the stock? Any photos of "How-to" swap out the stock?

No special tools, just a flat head screw driver. The only special thing you have to do is put the trigger group in prior to tightening the stock down. This is different than the factory set up.
