What is there to break on it? the most is the firing pin hammer maybe the trigger or ejector. i had my Mossberg 500 for 15-16 years and its NEVER broken any parts. The spring finally got weak and I replaced it but I keep it loaded 99% of the time.
I always wanted a M14/M1 so i bought one. I had one when I was young and like a idiot got rid of it in the 2000 AWB when nobody nkew their azz from peanut butter. I recently bought another one. if you really always wanted one then go buy it. hell its not liek you are gonna have 9 lives. last I checked you only get one shot to play the game called life
Thanks Rob, thats what I needed to hear. Now here is another question. My FN FS2000 for the new Spas 12? Worth it?

Between the SPAS12 & the Franchi Law 12. I pick the Franchi Law12.
I bought the Franchi and is much better than the heavy Terminator SPAS12.

Both were around $600.00 in the 80's.

why has the spas 12 been banned for 20 years?
I wanted to invent an engine that could run for ever. I could have developed a new train, had I stayed in the railway. It would have looked like the AK-47 though. MIKHAIL KALASHNIKOV

because it was evil looking and got listed in the first AW ban.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Some guys had one at spenceville a couple weeks ago - def not military so how they got it, or if it was even legal I do not know. I did not bother to ask them either.
they spent about 30 minutes trying to get it to work, would not cycle - not sure what the issue was but they eventually got it fixed...
about every 3rd or 4th shot it would not cycle again and they would all be scratching their heads
you don't rise to the occasion,
you just fall back on your level of training.

I'd get a Benelli M4, but I do like the SPAS-12 so there you have it! I would be as confused as you are right now if ever given the chance to buy one.

Why would they have to be mil to own it or be legal?

Bought mine in 1987 for $475.00. Not surprised they are running that much today.

It is cool to look at, but it is too bulky and too heavy for what it does. A Benelli M3 has the semi/pump functionality and is several pounds lighter.
