besides the "omg chinese"........ well what about warranty and reputation?

like if any of these break apart, would getting parts to fix or replace parts be easily found online?

Nothing wrong with it being Chinese. I have a Chinese MAK-90, Chinese SKS, 2 Chinese Mosin T-53's and a Chinese wife.

post has a short barrel on it. It wouldn't be legal to import it into the USA. It looks like it has about a 17" barrel.

                He must be Canada.

I like these Chinese guns, but I wish they could sell them with just a plain bead.

No Big 5 either. Are these common @ big five? The barrel length is 18.5" and the shroud covers 99.5% of it.

Spent less then a Big 5 Mossberg. Its a Hawk 97_1_2 - and is a reverse engineered version (action / receiver is at least) of the remy 870.

"Parts? Service" - who the hell cares? For the price : beat it still glows

                    edit:

same gun - but no folder on mine

Do 870 parts and accessories fit the Hawk?

LOL, I with she could hook me up with some more Norinco stuff. For an inexpensive bead sighted shotgun, check out these:

Same 870 clone just with a bead sight. They were on sale at Turner's a couple of weeks ago for $170.

Exactly ! This is what i thought instantly.

I walked into the shop with some friends ( I was taking two newbs -bigger newbs then me- out, one for tag along, one for his first gun ) and i was initially and admittedly looking for a 22lr to put a scope on and have cheap thrills with....

when low and behold something "strange" is sitting there. I take a closer look and im stumped. So i ask to see it. Her action was crisp, clean, and smooth. Then i flipped the price tag and saw about 100$ less then what i wanted to spend on a 22lr.

                              Strange? Ugly? Cheap?

                              YES
