    Snarf: Go here. https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1651983

It will help you figure this out.

I personally am not a fan of Pistol Grips on Shotguns, but I am a fan of Magpul Stock and Fore Ends.

Magpul Stocks have an adapter available that allows the attachment of the Large Super Squishy Remington Recoil Pads which knock down the Recoil dramatically.

May want to revise the title of the thread (press edit...wait for page to load...press edit again and it will let you edit the title. Then remember to click SAVE when done.

People keep misunderstanding you and assuming you mean pistol grip only rather than pistol grip equipped stock.

I would rephrase it to say; "Should I go with a Pistol Grip Equipped Stock or a Regular Shotgun Stock?"

Gotcha. People are lazy. They won't read through the whole thread. Me included. Hence the confusion. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

IMHO pistol grip works well with semi but awkward for pump unless the pump handle is also a pistol grip.

Pistol grip allows more shooting positions and r more suitable for military style fighting. But it all depends ur training with a shotty and preference.

If u typically shoot at the sky then normal stock, otherwise pistol grip works well.

Oh also straight stock handles faster than pistol stock. And not all pistol stocks are the same, some r just down right awkward. I would also suggest that Magpul stock is more a pistol grip style than ur traditional straight cone. It has better angle and more ergonomic than typical pistol grip stock.

Depends. I replaced my shotgun stock with a pistol grip. I discovered quickly that it was interfering with handling/reloading on a rapid fire stage. After changing back, the shotgun handles much better. I shot (and still shoot) Browning Gold. The pistol grip was FN. Sold the grip-stock to a fellow shooter and have no remorse. As far as I know, he sold it too!

Regular stock arrived today. Installed, cannot believe how much weight was the stock. Shotgun feels lighter. Loving it
