A new Beretta 1301 enhanced model announced

It looks like these are probably US made since Beretta is now including the extended tube. Not just for LE any more...

Also via email it says something about an oversized loading port, I am not sure if that is new or the same as previous versions. It looks like they may have reshaped the rear of the port a bit, perhaps with a resculpted trigger/guard assembly - but I can't say for sure.

Looks like a love child between the Tactical, some Nordic comp, and Pro Comp.

The oversized safety, loading port from the Pro Comp. A cheesy barrel clamp and higher capacity tube a la Nordic Components.

It's good to see the 7 round tube from the get-go. Saves people time and headache having to search for the +2 extension.

Maybe there are some subtle differences, but the pistol grip version looks like the current LE model.

Same as the gen 2 aside from the extended tube and clamp. Same controls and loading port. So kinda a wash some people may not like the plastic clamp and tube cover.

Can't tell from the ad pics, but looks the same as mine which is a Gen 2 I got back in January.

It is hard to tell from the pic, but when I look at the shell lifter - I see a lot more of the small square notch at the back of the lifter, than I do my Gen 2. It is different for sure.

So is the port longer, is the lifter different, or is it just something funny about the pic

The rear of the port is the plastic trigger housing, maybe it would not take much to change it if they wanted to. But I just can't tell...
