Given there were 140 shooters and no one broke into the 90's I feel better about my poor score.
        I shot a 64.

I don't think the heat had anything to do with my score, perhaps other people were affected.
At last years August Bonanza I shot a 74, yes, I have a spread sheet to track my scores

The bottled water ran out early. So I have an excuse.

Did the course seem more difficult compared to last month to you? I'm pretty sure I know why I did bad, but I was curious as I thought it was a tougher course also.

Difficulty wise it seemed about the same to me, I just made more stupid mistakes this time. There were more true pairs this time around, they can mess with your head. For me, a 1 on station 15, where we started, was very bad, not hard targets, I should have run it. Then I go dead pair, dead pair, lost pair on a couple stations...bad, shouldn't happen...must have been over thinking it.
You're new to this, so don't worry about it. The key is, watch the targets and figure out where you see it clearly and where you want to break it. Put your eyes where you see it clearly and put your gun hold 1/2 to 2/3 of the way to where you want to break it. Work on that and you will see improvement very quickly...

Just curious how do you get from station to station on this course & does it climb a lot of hills? trying to find out if I can handle getting around the course carrying my gun & ammo. Thanks for any input

FecalGuns do you want to answer this one?

Some guys use a cart to push around. There is only one area with a little incline to it but not bad even for all the old guys.

I just use a backpack, I put 4 boxes of shells and some water in my backpack and carry it that way, some guys use carts, some carry range bags, its really not that bad, pretty easy walking and the stations are pretty close together.

After hitching a ride with Ceh a few times, TrapperJohn lent me his stroller. Then I bought if off him. Definitely less work and more fun. I have it rigged for 4 guns presently, working on making it carry 6. Just for giggles.

Its not too bad at Moore & Moore one little bump after station 1 if my memory serves me right.

I lugged my stuff when I first went with ceh and trapperjohn. I tried to rig a cart using a low cost golf cart bag and that didnt work out. Ended up just building a modified stroller. I used mounts from amazon and have been working on the best material to put on the section that the wood goes on

I first made some leather sleeves using the knapp side that makes contact with the wood. ceh pointed out it may wear the finish over time which got me working on another one.

Luckily I have a 2 so for the other side I used a razor blade to cut out the rubber that locks it in and sewed up a microfiber and leather sleeve. Actually drops in and holds with very little tension now but is still secure.

After a couple more trips out ill mirror this for the other mount
