No cons at all.

My 1st SG decades ago.... got the big 5 mossberg 5+1 combo barrel on sale < 300$. Became the extra / bring a friend gun and has turned on many to shooting. Continues to run great, and has truck gun status between outings.

Last year grabbed the 7+1 maverick 20" for <200$...great HD option to have. this ones just warming up.

fairly inexpensive 12 gauge im looking to purchase - decent review from Hickok45, wondering if any Calgunners own one - i'd like some feedback on it

strictly gonna be a "for fun" shotgun, no competition, probably spend a good amount of time in my safe, one of the reasons im looking at something that's not high end

looking at an 18.5 in the $225.00 range

Any particular reason you want the 18 1/2" model instead of the 20" model w/ 7-round magazine tube?
