    Shotgun side saddles.

I've search a few thread here but they seem to be a few years old. I am looking to put a side saddle on my mossy shotguns and get away from the cheap slip over the stock shell carriers. I am leaning towards the velcro cards but there are so many out there it seems.

What are your preferences? The Esstec caught my eye but I don't know anything about them.

This is for my hunting shotguns as well as my HD and fun shotguns.

I have only used the Esstac Shotgun Cards for about 5 years. And they are used regularly. I have seen no loss of elasticity in the loops and the velcro is still holding.

They add minimal weight and bulk, are washable (by hand at least) and extras fit in an AR 15- sized pouch.

I like sidesaddles that are semi-fixed, and quickly replaced

                Nope.

As my instructor taught, 'If you're not shooting, you should be moving and reloading'.

I have the 7-round velcro cards; they're not labeled, but they're ESSTAC.

Just spin it over so shells are on the other side.

I use a Mesa Tactical side saddle on my 870. It’s pricey but worth it.

As my military background tells me If you could not eliminate your opponent in any HD situation with 6 rounds you are already dead and should not engage/endanger anyone with your shotgun "defending" activity. You better stay at keyboard fights, you are good at it

So you limot the ammo in all situations to 6 rounds?

                          Good for you.

Is my M1s90 a keybosrd commando weapon? I will go put a plug in it, just for you.

I have no military background, just a few classes and I still think having a side saddle is good to have for the simple fact that you can keep other types of rounds with you in case you need to switch from buckshot to slug. Agreed in your HD situations, you probably wouldn't need to but if you needed to engage someone at a distance or you need to make sure you have more accuracy without a shot spreading, it makes sense to have some slugs on the side saddle.

While Sandro was asking for it...you are coming off as such just sayin.

                              Back on topic...

while I do prefer stock pack type shell holders the ATI HALO a buddy runs on his mossy is slick and quick. Pluck shells out with ease and snag free would recommend.
