I think its too much money for a gun thats not much more practical, or tactical, than a pump shotty. However... If I had the extra money for a FUN kick *** TOY, then I would definately pick one up... but I think I would finish a few other builds first.

How do you know it would be limited production? If I understand this whole Obama scare correctly, as long as one orders from the manufacturer prices should be normal/decent since you arent paying for one that a shop owner just traded his kidney for to sell to someone who wants it now. Thats why if you look hard enough for x gun thats hard to find, there will be a place that sells it for a decent price but it may take you a while to get or find it. The shops that have the secret way of getting x desireable gun NOW in decent quantities are pushing them for quite a bit more than they are really worth. However maybe the manufacturer will a-holeishly sell it for 3k just because there are no others so its tough to say what will happen especially since it doesnt even exist yet

so it wouldnt be hard to get around the AW laws, the saiga 12 deos it with the use of the bullet button.+ if you have a registered lower it would be even better.

Yep. There are plenty of Saiga-12's in the state. Just have to have a bullet button. Never been hassled by anyone when shooting mine.

If they can do it with an AK receiver, I'm sure it could be done with an AR.

I really doubt it would be much of a legal-issue time bomb as some of yalls think it will be. Do you really think that most LEOs will think that AW laws for shotguns are completely different than rifles? Were not talking about grenade launchers here guys, its just another regular type of firearm. So chances of getting a LEO that is well versed in CA AW laws for rifles but being incredibly ignorant and jumpy for shotgun AW laws is pretty slim.
