That's what I am saying, that's not going to work with my wife because she is taking a head count. If all of a sudden the safe goes from 15 to 17 long guns, she is going to know something is up. I really have too many anyway.

TacticalSpork (Kevin) joined me for a few stations. He wanted to shoot an A300 before he bought one, so I lent him mine.

He did well, he was safe and he broke a bunch of targets. He even broke a few targets with my Browning 525 WITHOUT A FRONT BEAD

HAHA! Awesome! I love it when I sneak a new gun home, put it in the back of the safe, let a little dust get on it, 6 months later........
Wife: "Is that a new gun?"

I've tried it...

My wife didn't think it was as funny as I thought it was. I figured out real quick that she knows every single gun that I have and even notices when I change accessories. It makes me smile because I know she is actually into guns and pays attention. She even has a few of her own now.

My ex-wife...I got away with it a few times a year. I would just tell her that I traded for the new one, or that I bought it last year.."don't you remember". She always fell for it, but she wasn't real bright anyway...

That's just how many are in the safe. At the bottom of the safe are bolts to about another twenty long guns that are stored elsewhere around the house. I have enough guns now that I occasionally forget I have a certain gun. That C&R disease is bad I tell ya! ;-)

But hey, if thats the case and you ever need her to shut up fast when she calls (and her getting angry is ok) you can say 'Im at the range' even if you're... at your secretaries place or a strip club...etc etc
