Got my mosquito today

Going to break it in tomorrow, or it might break me? Nah. I got mini-mags, stingers, m-22 Winchester, golden bullets - I'm sure I got something it will eat.

I love the way the grip feels and bought the gun for that reason. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Congrats - really fun shooter. Two recommendations: first, FrogLube inside and out, mags too. Second, use only CCI ammo. I have great results with Blazer and MM. Careful with the Stingers.

I have a Mosquito also.

They are a great fun gun to shoot. Really reliable if used per manufacturers instructions.

Keep it oil slinging wet and use only HV ammo like Mini-mags and Golden Bullets. It will function like a champ.

Haven't heard a lot of good things about the winchester m-22. I have 2 mosquitoes and they both have been great, except on the winchester ammo. But didn't get to the m-22 so please post how it works out for you.

I have had my mosquito for over 3 years now.
It has been flawless since the day I got it.
I use cci mini-mags and remington golden, never had a malfunction.
I clean and (lube or oil) this gun just like my other guns, nothing excessive.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.

Got my mosquito today

Oh so sweet!!!

Well below are pics of the torture test to the Mosquito, I love it.

It ran (round count) mini-mags 100, Scorpion 150, blazers 150, Norma 50 with three fte and ftf, Thunderbolts 100, and CCI Quite 5 rounds hand cycled. I shot up everything I had in the bag. I even ran a mag as fast as I can shoot of blaZers and had no issues.

The issues are with the ammo and the Norma has a sticky lub substance that causes some of the problem. All ftf were re-struck and fired so I figure it was the primer.

The gun worked better than I was expecting and all the prep I did was wipe grease off and lube with Hoppes oil.

I love this gun.

It's a nice little gun as long as you can find Mini-Mags for it. It will run all day on them. Blazers are identical in velocity but have the exposed lead bullet instead of a copper plated one; you will have to clean the top end every 100 rounds or so in my experience when using the Blazers. Anything else is a crap-shoot as far as functionality I've found out. Enjoy it!
