    Kimber .22 LR Super

I just got this baby a few days ago, and I totally love it! Kimber is so smooth and elegant and the rose wood grips are gorgeous. Yes, it was expensive, but it's amazing and worth every penny. Shooting a .22 pistol is awesome, it feels so nice. Any thoughts from my fellow members?

I had one several years ago; it looked gorgeous but regrettably it was problematic in consistent reliability and I ended up getting rid of it. Hopefully your long term experience will be different because for the amount Kimber charges for this pistol, mine should have run consistently, but didn't!
A good rifle build isn't cheap, but a bad one can be expensive!

I have a Kimber conversion kit that runs 100% on my Gold Cup frame but when I picked up my buddies all aluminum Kimber the balance and feel was fantastic. It's a special gun.

I saw the pistol at a Turners one day. Imagine a full size 1911 in 22lr. Start dry humping the glass and drooling. Cost was not cheap but no different then buying an Rock Island 1911 and putting a kimber 22lr kit on it. just pure awesomeness

Yes. The kimber rimfire is undeniably a beautiful piece. The only other dedicated 1911 .22 that I think is worthwhile is the browning 1911-22
