Maybe if we all email and call Midway and ask for our .22 lr backorders to be honored longer than a year, it might happen!

Their policy says this:
"What is your Backorder Policy?
We do everything possible to get your backorders out as quickly as possible while minimizing shipping costs.
When you only have one product on backorder, we ship it out as soon as it’s received. When you backorder multiple products on a single invoice, we hold all of those products so they ship together. Once any backordered product has been in our warehouse for 90 days, we automatically ship that product to you, as well as any of your other backordered products in stock at that time. All backorders ship via the most economical shipping method possible.
Backorders open longer than 365 days will be cancelled."
Ridiculous. I have had mine open just about 10 months and nothing from these people. I am actually on hold with them as I type this to see about extending the backorder so it does not expire.
ETA: Talked to a rep named Eddie at MidwayUSA and they did away with the policy of expiring backorders after 365 days. The website still shows it, but we did not get into that. What Eddie told me is that as long as the Credit Card on file is fine (not expired) the backorder will stay open. Eddie also said the 22LR I have on backorder is showing potential arrival on Dec 31st. I will hold my breath.

We'll see tomorrow if Eddie is lying, all but one of my .22 lr backorders I placed on 11/11/13.
Edit: All of my .22 lr backorders still stand after 365 days.
Hopefully we get our ammo sooner than later.

Just passed 365 days on 11/09 for a Winchester BO. Still open. I did get a notice to make sure my CC was still OK.

I have an order from Nov 2013 too... On the truck for delivery today!I actually forgot about my backorder of 5k CCI minimags from Nov 2013 and the damn things shipped this week.
Since the original backorder I have bought about 5k of 22lr now I have to explain to the wife why I have more.
Wife is sort of an anti who thinks "What do you need so many bullets for? Zombies are not real!!!!!"

Wife is sort of an anti, who shoots (she's complicated
)... so she has a case of MiniMags from Nov 2013 on the way too.

Update:An update to this thread.
Couple of weeks ago Midway sent me an email stating that I have a back order on the books and to make sure my card was up to date in case it came in.
Yesterday, I recieved an email saying the CCI MiniMag I ordered last November (qty. 500) is shipped and on it's way to me.
For comparison, a co-worker order 2000 of the same, same time. He hasn't heard anything.
My co-worker, who actually had two orders of 5000 had one of them shipped and due in today. It was ordered a year to the day it shipped. He's hoping for the second order, but that was ordered a couple of month after the first one.So much for being honest.Originally posted by ivanimalPeople that call other member stupid get time off.Comment

Thanks for the update.
That gives me some hope on my December Back Ordered case of CCI MM HP.
I called Midway a couple of weeks ago to check on status and the gal said that there were something like 31,000 cases of MMs on backorder.
Cheesh!! 31,000 cases!Comment

In a article I read dated 2012 CCI stated they make 4 million rounds a day, now I would imagine it's even more.Comment

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.
I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.
I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.Comment
