What the heck is with people

speakin of the federal 100 round boxes. i know that now federal 9mm is only 90 cents cheaper than winchester. but is a noticeable savings on 40 and 45 with federal over winchester. on 45 acp its around a 5 dollar edge for federal. and the umc 250 packs of 45 have gone up from 109 to 111 before tax.

My Walmart does limit to one bulk box and that's fine by me. We still have ammo flippers in town but it does make it harder on them.

I like it every day at 7 - I KNOW when to go - I have a job - but they know the deal - Hell I've got coworkers that want a text and will run down if there's something they need. Boss doesn't care, keeps people happy.

That said - if you are on Calguns - why the hell would you be worrying about Walmart!? I got more ammo in a week from the info here that 3 months of 7am runs to Wally's... Work SMART not hard

actually the morning walmart things have become a social deal with me. i would say ive gotten between and 60 and 70 thousand rounds at walmart in the past 11 months.

My Walmart stocks ammo at 9:00 Am everyday..Same time everyday..

They got in 11,000 rounds of Federal 550 packs, (20) of them. It was gone in less then ten minutes I am in a pretty small town too. I do not even see how you check that much out in ten minutes

I am going to suggest my idea to a buddy that manages the Sporting counter here and see what he thinks. Maybe it is a bad idea..

My idea is stop stocking the damn stuff at the same time everyday...Maybe even not stock all of it on the same day..Keep some in the back and put it out as different times each day..Maybe that would somewhat deter the flippers And give people with honest jobs a chance at the ammo after work..Just an idea I thought of..

Do not get me wrong. Really not complaining, just think my idea would give more people a shot so to speak, and those that have to work in the morning like most of us do..

Anyway, good it is coming in in larger amounts and more often..Just need to be quick I guess..

On a side note. I think the quality control of the current .22 ammo has fell to the wayside in place of greed to get as much out the door as possible right now..

Turners in Corona did this for other ammo and it seemed to produce less frustrations for people that show up looking for ammo because sometimes they actually had it on the shelf. Or tell them to trickle out a pack or two throughout the day. The problem will arise though by people checking stock at the online sites and seeing that they have 40 boxes, then going down there to buy adn they get mad and start crap. But if he is a manager then I say go for it. I am tired of not being able to buy 22lr ammo. I have a stockpile myself but about half is gonna be CB short (that I use for uhhh, pest control), but the fact that I can not buy any to replace my old makes me not wanna shoot it.

come the F on,I've been to wallmart 50 times trying to find a box of 22's so I can shoot my browining I bought Last MAY!Due to my job,I can only be there at opening on Sunday (some Saturdays) I see you guys, calling the clerks by name...I also see the guys (like me) that bought 22's to teach their kids to shoot,that (like me ) dont score squat.How bout you sleep in and give the ones that REALLY need it a shot?

oh, our 2 walmarts which are less than 5 minutes apart have a 3 box per person limit per day and i remember one great week back in the summer that in one week i was able to obtain over 6000 rounds of 22 for myself and a few friends. those times make up for the 15 day in a row dry runs. lol

beerman, that is why you befriend a guy like me that is retired and has the time and inclination to due the ammo hunt thing. also before this ammo shortage started this time i had a small stockpile allready. when our local dicks sporting good had their grand opening i bought 18 of the 525 round boxes of golden bullets which i think i kept 8 and passed the rest to friends and of course a couple boxes to my daughter. and neither of us needs the ammo, we just want it.

good catch rango. as it stands now walmart isnt selling the remington 525 round boxes of golden bullets, hopefully they come back. i think the price you paid is about the same as wally sells the federal 550 boxes for too.
