Sentimental favorite rifle in my collection. This Remington 511 Scoremaster (~1948) was handed down to me in 1973 by my uncle, who bought it new. I killed more soup and soda cans with this rifle...best memories I have from when I was a kid.

Not sure where "old School leaves off and Vintage begins but this is what I have:

        Sentinal

        H&R Sportsman (still NIB)

        S&W M 651 22mag/22lr

        Nylon 66

        Nylon 66 Clone

20 yo Ruger 10/22 (unfiired in 19 years)

        Stevens

Mossberg M44 from CMP Mossberg rear sight

Mossberg M44 from CMP Lyman rear sight

The Mossbergs were the best $75 (ea) purchase I ever made from CMP, bought 5 sold 3 shoulda bought more!

Would love to get a Stevens Crackshot.

I agree,CMP sent me a literally brand new M44 with the mossy sights, and another LNIB with the lyman sights. As well as a nib M12...still have the m44 w/mossy sights(like them better) and the M12...the ly sight was sold to my longtime shooting buddy for what I paid for it....payback for the $800 preban
M1A he sold me. You have some nice 22s there my man.

Thanks beerman,, this is one of the best threads we've had on the Forum. I think ALL of the photos show some REALLY REALLY very nice firearms! I kept these two M44's so I'd have a "sample" of the 2 different sights, never have shot the Lyman sights only the Mossy one.

Now lets describe some unusual or unique features of some of these? (I'm sure there are many so let's hear your opinions!)

The Stevens 87, because it is tube fed and both single shot and semiauto?

Push the bolt handle in and you have to hand cycle it, pull it out and it is semiauto. I've never seen another with this capability, and why did they develope it that way I wonder?

Still can't get over all the great photos and stories members have posted, thanks to ALL for sharing. Hoping for more to showup!

Nice. Those Belgian rifles were so popular they were copied as were the Remington Nylon 66's.

I'd like to find a Remington Nylon 66 in the same condition as my Browning and the seller didn't think he had the only one ever made I'd buy it, I really like those.

NICE group! Especially like the M63. I bought my M651 back in the 1980's when I had a 01 FFL, had a M 650 to go with it, dummy me I sold the M 650 to a customer and didn't restock!

Just got this at a pawn shop yesterday ($320 + $10 for the instant background check). Probably from the 1960s. Manurhin made PP and PPK pistols in France under license from Walther while West Germany was barred from arms production. Manurhin also supplied parts for Walther to finish, assemble, and proof fire as Walther PP and PPK pistols until the 1980s.

                          Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Nice pistol! Nice to have instant backround checks also!

Is that mag grip extention a factory item or was it a home made improvement to the short grip?

                            Congrats on the new score!

Thanks. That's the Extension Magazine version that is factory original.

There is a large post sticking from the bottom of the magazine well that goes into a socket in the rear of the magazine. You can see the socket in this magazine for sale on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-WAL...item3f25cb90c1

                              Here's a similar Manurhin PP in .32 ACP http://www.gunauction.com/buy/119257...ox-mag.c-and-r
