Always liked old .22s.Recent post got me thinking I'd like to see more of them. One of my personal favorites is my Stevens 416T.Made in 1944,US Property marked.Accurate full sized rifle built for an adult.

Also dustier than I thought.Really shows in the pics.Would love to see other members vintage .22s.

I like the old .22 guns too. I shoot all my guns, none are safe queens. Some like the Savage and the Brno are very accurate.

I recieved this J.C. Higgins (Marlin 80) as a sixteenth birthday gift... 50 years ago

This is a Brno #4 target rifle. Made in Czechoslovakia in the 50's

      Savage 29 made in 1929.

My old Remington Speedmaster 241. Learned to shoot as a kid with this rifle, (1960's) and still an excellent weekend shooter today.

1959 Marlin Model 99 (the precursor to the Model 60) with original Weaver scope. The most accurate rifle I have ever fired.

I briefly had a broken Savage 71 (or something like that) but it got gun-buybacked.

Nice stuff here. I am looking for an older .22 bolt action rifle at a reasonable price. I have always liked the oddball re-brands like Western Auto, Coast to Coast Hardware, Montgomery Wards, etc., as they represent a slice of Lost America.

                          I'd like a Winchester 67, too.

Does yours have a 'Remington UMC' Seal on the underside of the trigger guard?

I have, what I thought, was a Remington 12, but I just noticed today it says 'J Stevens Arms Company' on the top of the barrel. I've never noticed it, I've had possession of the gun for about 4 years.

I dated it somewhere between 1912-1915, but that was going off the Remington date/serial number guide...I don't know if it's even a Remington or not anymore lol.
