Yep, guess I can't read penal code. Cannot find appendix A let alone 50 pages in the bill. So frustrating. Is my Ruger 44/99 Deerfield on the exempt list?

Where's the best place to get mags? Right now the cheapest I can find them on eBay for ruger mags is about 25 bucks a pop.

Page 50? SB 374 is only 6 pages long, there is no exemption for anything but a handful of pistols http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/po...thor=steinberg

never understood why the love for 10-22s. i just never want a gun that popular.
my savage mark 2 FV will out shoot one no problem. without spending 1 penny on it. i am not saying they are bad rifles. but i never want something every swinging D*^K in town has.

I went to one Big5 in Sunnyvale and there was a waiting list, I put my name down for a 10/22 takedown because, why not?

There are 7 people ahead of me on the T/D waiting list and 7 people on the "I don't care, any 10/22 will do" list (ie; I'm like 14th in line) and the counter guy said, they might trickle in one every 2 weeks or so. So we're talking months of waiting.

I went to the Big5 in San Mateo and also asked to be on the list, and the manager said "Nope, there is no list, there are no 10/22s Ruger is not accepting our orders and there is a 2 year backlog". Whoa!

Well, I already have a Marlin 795 (and I might buy another so one day I can shoot with my kids without them arguing) and they are jacked up an extra $50 which is a lot on a $130-$140 rifle, so I'm not completely jonesing for a 10/22 but a takedown would be nice if it ever shows up.

So weird that the Marlins are still just sitting there.

Try Turners I'm pretty sure they have a few take downs in the warehouse. I jailed a regular one on Tues with them.
