So... the lead free Winchesters are still showing up in my cart from last week yet they are still not on the "normal" website. This doesnt look good and leads me to believe that what Yankee is saying about us buying allocated store stock through the backdoor links might be the case. If we don't see anything pop up on the rimfire page this week I will be convinced and wouldn't hold my breath that anything will show up on the website for a long while. We just have to wait and see.

I tried to get that. It is a max 1 min 2 BO. It doesn't exist even in the back of the store.

I'm thinking there will at the very least be a reduction of ammo available for online purchase. Maybe by 50%, maybe more. If we were buying reserved stock we won't have access to that any more.

But, they seemed to have plenty of M22 for the in store sale last Saturday so I may be way off. They might have store stock in a whole different system already. Too early to make a call worth betting on.

I think this is most likely the case. That makes sense of the reason the customer service reps couldn't "see" anything in the system, as it was not allocated to on-line sales yet.

I suspect what happened is buying through the cart links eventually hurt "year over year" sales at some store, and hurt some influential managers bonus, which would have caused the sort of "fix it NOW" actions we saw.

They could care less about the customer service reps whining...but hit a manager in the pocketbook, and watch out!! A wise man once told me that if you want the truth, follow the money...

I was just at Turner's and the guy behind the counter said that they've been getting a steady supply of 22, it still gets sold out the day it comes in, but he said supply has been steady at least

Anyone's 333 order from 3/20 go on backorder?

The one that i purchased says in stock and delivery of 3/28 but my fiance's says backordered with no arrival date.

I got box of 333 today, with a 50 of lead free.
edit : I just checked and I ordered 3/18 though...

Looks like they are really cleaning everything up---They had several mistakes in the billing of my credit card---I haven't said anything, but looked in today and all errors corrected and clean as a whistle---All BO's filled---So who knows what they'll do next---Where's the pic of the Cabela guy---Need a good chuckle.

Last time I checked the flipper have stock. Its not really flipping when there is a service involved is it?

Nothing against flippers........just dont want to pay higher prices to support my .22 buying addiction. Starting shooting 22's like I did a few years back....a brick a weekend, now I need to slow down and it aint easy!

Maybe they are cleaning up the system. The part numbers were a complete mess as it was. The pictures never matched what was posted for sale, part numbers for similar brand 22 ammo were the same even though the upc was different, etc... to be honest it really needed a clean up anyway. Hopefully they will correct it and will show individual part numbers for each item now.

Kinda curious to see if Gunbot or others will pick up anything from them going forward---In the past whatever came up on those sites, even if it stayed up for quite awhile, it still never showed up on their Rimfire page---And that had nothing to do with the carts we were using.
