Can you even imagine how it would go down if every person from every forum who was buying online or trying to, all at once started calling Cabelas CS several times a day to ask if there was any 22lr in stock---Carts would be back up in a heart beat and our Cabelas guy would have his job back.

I actually like that idea. Not sure if it wouldn't result in a hang up policy if you even start to ask about carts, but I like it...

I'm pretty sure they are still getting 22lr becaus my 3/21 order of blazer went from backorder to I'm process a couple of days ago and it shipped today

It doesn't mean it's there. Many times there are mistakes with the bar coding. You need to find out when they put they ammo out. You also need to watch the web site to see what CHANGES during the day. If at 2 pm there's nothing showing availability unknown, then it shows up at 8 pm, it usually means it was unloaded from the truck that afternoon. If it always shows availability unknown, then you know there isn't any. When ever I make a buy at 7 am, by 8 am or 9 by the latest the site will have gone to out of stock. There's usually 4-10 people every morning at my WW. Most of them know nothing about the mobile walmart web site. The ones that do, get there early when they see it the night before, otherwise they sleep in.

PubChef - Here that means they got some on the truck and checked it in....when it goes out to the shelf depends on the local store. Could be in the morning...could already be put out AND gone.

I actually engaged in a rather terse email dialog with several of the customer service reps at Cabelas the day they dropped the bomb... the reps acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, or that the cart system ever existed...

I have about a dozen backordered items schedules to ship out 3/25/14. I know a lot of other people have had this date given to them for the past month or two. Wonder if tomorrow is going to be Ship-A-Looza?

I've talked to two reps at Cabela's...one a younger lady and another an older lady. Both were very nice and helpful...

Both were quite aware of the shopping cart feature - AND aware of the shopping cart retrieval feature being used as it was.

The younger one was flat out direct in asking if I had used a shopping cart retrieval link to acquire ammo...
