Please take Note...

I have news for you then, I know of 2 people who had their accounts banned for placing duplicate orders with Gander. You might get away with it once or even twice but they will catch you. The limits are in place for a reason so do not be greedy. Allow people who are not sitting around slack jawed at the computer waiting for ammo to get some. Seems like there are a lot of greedy people out there and all they think about is how they can get more then their fair share. Order as much as you can , but just make sure it is within the rules or you risk ruining it for everyone. Before you know it Gander will get sick of it and do what Cabelas did. Let's not ruin a good thing

These duplicate orders your friends placed, did these orders exceed the limit of 10 per day(or 5 if it was back last summer)???

Now I understand it was a little long winded, there's short attention spans these days and
that reading comprehension is something only us old farts seem to have a grasp on,
but NOWHERE did I state any1 should break the rules!

I'll break it down so those that might seem to be a little "challenged" will not misconstrue:

The site CLEARLY states that the limit is 10 per day:

Those of us who've been graced/able, have ordered our limit of 10 of each item for quite sometime now without incident.
Before that we ordered 5.(As per the rules)

Now take note that the site rule is still 10 whilst perusing...

If you recall when the Fed 525 1st came up, we could purchase 3.
Next it was 1
I was able to get 2 M-22's on the 1st day they showed up(didn't last long).
When it came up later it was 1.

(And some of us placed another order so 4 or 3 on that day)

Same with the MM's...1st time 10, then they reduced it to 3 on it's 2nd go round.

Now if U were lucky to get in on the 10, you were done for the day.
If not...you could try to place another order if it didn't sell out by then.
(Which as we all know it didn't last long enough.)

Remember the Bucket's had a limit of 2 also.

again same rules apply and again it was gone pretty fast so I doubt highly any1 was able to get 10.

he stated the limit per order is so more people have access to it.
What's truly enlightening is that he didn't specify these were to be all you could order.
IOW they may limit the amount you can get in an order, but
NOTHING precludes you to place multiples up to your 10 per day.

This is the key...if it still states 10 as a limit and your not going over that, no matter how many orders you place it would not be breaking the "rules".

This helps to spread it around a bit better...
ie. before you could order 10 buckets on your account.
That took maybe 5 min tops.
Now you would have to place 5 separate orders.
Or say you had to place 10 separate orders for the M-22.
Now U really think you could get all those in before it sells out?
How quick did the reduced amounts last?
Think about it...

Understand why they temporarily lowered the amount you could place in an order now?
Stock was short and they wanted to spread it around a little more.

If this was not the case then Please explain why the fast & able ordered the limit of 10 MM's and/or 10 Fed 810's last night?
(Maybe the lowering yesterday was a trial run of some sort?)

I take offense at the greedy comment and if it was not aimed at me then I stand corrected and Please accept my humblest apologies.

Unlike others here, I've NEVER broken the rules at either gander or BigC!
For the record, to date, Not 1 order has been cancelled(Knock on wood),
Nor have I ever been on the naughty list or banned for following said rules.

I've been able to get plenty of ammo while observing the set limits.
How much I've bought or how I choose to spend MY HARD EARNED $$$ is nobody's damn business!!!
What any1 considers a fair share is irrelevant as long as I'm playing by the rules the merchants put forth.

1 last note:
Assuming that some of us sit around our comps is just a tad shortsighted in this day and age.
"Some of us" are savvy enough to set up our system to alert us no matter where we are at.(Improvise, Overcome, Adapt!)
Those who aren't able or haven't done their homework to facilitate the same shouldn't hate on those that can/do...
BTW I work my tail off, only getting every other Sun to myself,
and I'm able to do this while posting for others to benefit when I can.

Once more for the intellectually challenged, something Pasia and I agree on:
Buy as much as your little heart desires...as long as it's within the rules.

I'm guessing if you shop to store you get local sales tax. You all are reporting these out if state orders on your CA use tax right?

I'm guessing if you shop to store you get local sales tax.

ASAIK If you happen to have a store in-state, you have to pay homage to the tax man no matter what,
so might as well ship to local store and just Pick it up.
I know it's that way with GM.

For those who's store is not right around the bend,
Wait till you placed several orders.
After a month or so of orders just pick them all up at the same time.
(I did this on a planed trip to my sis in PA.)
