Kind of glad it hit last night and not after payday this Friday. Helped curb my spending

I just want to say that Gander has excellent customer service! Last night when I checked this forum and saw the CCI rush, I placed an order for everything that I could link to, and watched it all disappear from my cart as I rushed to get the order in. Everything went OOS but the SV LRN, so I threw in some 62 gr 5.56 green tip cans. Once this order was in, I repeated it several times - mainly so that I could actually feel successful at scoring ammo via this thread, plus the free shipping on the bulk 5.56.

I received an email from Gander this morning letting me know that there had been a problem with my last order, and it couldn't be processed. This was just my ATM card, and apparently I didn't have any back-up/"guarantee" set up, so when the checking went bottom up, the savings didn't kick in. I transferred $$ immediately, called Gander, and they ran it again and honored the order. I'm guessing that Midway would have just canned it and sent me the "too bad; so sad/it sucks to be you" notice. So, this is just a shout out to Gander, who now have a customer for life, after letting me resolve my own error on basically my first order with them. I do appreciate good customer service!

Yeah thats the thing now a days... All of these LGS and Internet companies think that there is a gun rush that they can treat people like **** because they have what people want. Not for me... I will never buy from the Shootist in Murrieta... they are blatant about trying to screw people cause of the panic.

CTD can eat a bowl of dicxs as well with their 120.00 325rd count .22lr.

If more people were customer service based buyers than all of these POS companies would go out of business...
