I managed to put 20 american eagle in my cart before. Then they called the next day and had me reduce the number. Sucky part is, they did not hold the ammo for me so by the time I called back, they were oos.

I bought a brick and added in a box of 20GA #4 shot and whalla Free Shipping!

Earlier this year I bought the same from another vender, to replace what I
had shot. That was .50 cents more per box PLUS shipping, so we are moving
in the right direction.

Before the shortage, CCI STD velocity sold for $2.80, (average) per paper box.

Yep!!! They shipped em too!!! Seems Gander has changed up their release times for ammo. I'm thinking their order fulfillment system and their website don't always coordinate. Stock gets low and the 10 item limit gets lowered, then they release more 10 minutes after. Doesn't make sense. Just release the whole wad. At least they releaee more than one brand/type lately unlike Cabelas with one box limits and one or two brands max to choose from. One sure way to order more than 10 is to submit two orders and use different credit cards to pay. I'm pretty much done with. 22 but I put orders for my wife too using a different card. Same shipping address, different name, different card. Now to get two orders done before what you want sells out? Good luck. When buckets 'o return Ill bet its a ten item limit too if you can afford it.

FWIW, I am done with Gander Mountain. I have ordered ammo from them four times where I bought it, checked out, they sent me a receipt and then for various reasons, they revise it, don't ship it, put as multi-month delay on it, etc.

DONE with them, they kind of suck.

The one good thing about Gander is they said in my receipt email they don't charge your credit card until the order ships.

I don't care too much if they cancel a order of 1000 rounds of CCI SV for $88 shipped. I can and will get better deals on better ammo.

Better ammo than CCI SV? Yes, there probably is "better" ammo out there...but we need to define the term "Better" in that statement. $88 shipped for 1k rds of CCI SV is pretty hard to beat nowadays. I'd try to hang onto that deal from GM if I were you.

I would rather have Mini Mags, my preferred .22 lr ammo. Last time Midway listed HP and RN Mini mags and I think it was $65 for 1000 plus $14 shipping. Speaking of which Midway usually gets Mini Mags in on monday so put other ammo or items you want in your cart and get ready...

I perused their site this AM quite extensively .. looking to perhaps que up other items I might be interested in .. to get over the $50 free shipping threshold. Y'all know what that's about .. Midway comes to mind of course. What I found was .. tons of stuff that is just simply being drop-shipped from the manufacturer .. akin to buying a welder off of evilbay. I was cruising mainly the reloading section .. they don't even carry primers or modern powders .. even brass is being drop-shiped .. part of their business model. So it wouldn't supprise me in the least that they are queuing up orders for ammo stock that is anticipated, but not actually in-stock at that time.

If they have a killer deal on ammo, and by now certainly you are not in a rush .. right .. then that's just the way it is. For the other calibers .. they simply don't have much in bulk .. just the nickel and dime ya 20 round boxes. They have some XM193 1k for $600 .. that's 'bout it (that's the XM stuff amigos .. not the M stuff). YMMV .. Cheers

I went to check out Exile Machine today and they have cool stuff, like Advantage Arms mags of various lengths. But a price check of apples to apples as far a Pmags of the same GEN looks like 44mag.com is still cheaper at least for my test order. Gen M3 Windowed are $17.95 at both places, GEN 2 are cheaper at both places. Shipping from Exile was $12 for me and Magpul ships FREE from 44mag.com so even with the $2.25 fee is was $4-$5 cheaper.

Well Gander just charged my card for $88 for the two bricks of CCI SV I ordered last night(with a limit of 1). I guess they are not super strict about their limits.

I assume they plan on shipping the two bricks if they took my money for them...
