WALK DO NOT RUN... this is .08 per round before shipping which is mini-mag 100 pack territory on GANDER AND CABELA'S.

CCI SV - $40 per brick about .08 + shipping as well

Hey, what's the difference between these goldens and the 525 bulk? Anything? I have never shot any Remington ...

.22 mag at turners rancho....15.99 don't know if they were 20 or 50 round bricks
      I don't remember the time I was human that's why I don't understand anybody.
The sound of a cat puking is the most effective alarm clock.
There's danger lurking around every corner, that's why I propose we make all of our buildings round.

Hey, check this out. With all this price per round calculating. I checked my orders that I was able to get 1k - 10 boxes of CCI 40gr CPRN mini-mags. Main 3 places I’ve ordered with surprising results.

        STORE – Price/100rnds*10 boxes + Shipping = Total

        Gandermountain - $7.49*10 boxes + 9 = $83.90
        Cabelas - $8.99* 10 boxes + $5 = $94.90
        MidwayUSA – $6.69*10 boxes + $16 = $82.90

          Same thing, different price.
They come in the 100 boxes, 525 boxes, and 1400 buckets.
If it says "Golden Bullet", you're gold. Get 'em....but not at THAT price (unless you absolutely need them or want to stock up).

THAT price seemed high for the same thing, hence the question. I'll be waiting for a 525s or buckets, or federal 2100's. Gander tonight?

              NICE!

MIDWAY looks good... can't go wrong judging a vendor on DELIVERED price per round.

CABELA's is due for a bucket run too. The bucket there is $10 cheaper+shipping is $4 cheaper (with Cabela's card CLUBFIVE CODE if it is still working).

Those are 40gr plated roundnose. Similar to the 40gr CPRN CCI Mini mags. The bulk packs 500+ and Buckets are usually 36gr HP.

Wow, Cabelas really is a lot more, especially when you consider that most people don't have a Cabelas credit card so they're paying a lot more than $5 for shipping.

                    Gander and Midway FTW!

Well, they're actually pretty good for optics, especially if you want factory refurbs for extra savings.

                      But not for ammo, ugh.

Yes that was from a previous order and that $16 shipping included about $60 worth of other stuff too.

Sad thing is Midway cut their limit to 5 max now so it will be hard to get that deal again.

All affects the bottom line... if the price per round is right, then they are ok.

Obviously they can't do too many things on the list and still have a decent price, but you can do ONE thing and be BAD BAD BAD if your price is insane.

Nothing, not even free shipping and customer service can make up for a price that is two or three times too high. Free shipping and no limit will never make PALMETTO CHOOT EM cheaper than $65.

By Price Gouging, I mean within reason like how SGammo has a flat rate of .10 per round but no limit, reasonably shipping and fast delivery.

Jokers that want $60-$90 for bulk packs are not even on my radar screen.

And these coupon codes for GANDER would push it over the top... I always forget codes at Gander cause I am sprinting to the checkout before it sells out in 2 minutes... too stressed to worry about stinking codes. $10 off would be epic.
