[QUOTE=Yankee495;13556439]I seen an auto cart link in a Facebook group the other day. They had it, but had no idea how to use it. I think this will enlighten you a bit. Names were removed.

I found this thread in a Facebook group. I can tell you why their orders are being canceled. They ordered 5,000 rounds!!! They are using a link like we have and well...abusing it and getting on the "list". Be sure to read the last comment about what customer service told them!

    Holly Crap!!!

It's to bad our visitors/views wont respect our efforts (site) sources and not take them to other John Q public sites to be abused!!

Maybe we should password protect our site!! May not stop them but might slow them down.

I know...The group I seen the link in had 6,000+ members. It was a strange link, not our one ending in "bf"...

          Not this one:

A couple of days later I seen some of them complaining their orders were being canceled. It all started with a guy who ordered two bricks to his store and then posted the link.

Several got two with store pick up. They don't know what the link is about as they have the usual everything is OOS and that link don't work and then the guy, yeah it does, I got 5.

Tell the facebookers to make sure and call customer service to confirm their orders.

I figure a 500 brick equals 3 typical range trips for me. On those 3 trips I'll go through around $60-$65 worth of 9mm and $25-30 worth of .22lr, and pay the range $45. So $7 more or less is pretty insignificant if I need the ammo. I don't need it, so I haven't bought it. Cabela's B&M store had 50 rd boxes at $2.99 with limit of 2, and 2 people called their buddies while I was there to come and get their whopping 100 rounds. IMHO people who feel .22LR is an "investment" or the "new currency when TSHTF" are the ones whose stash of .22LR will be hauled to the fire station or wherever for disposal after they're gone. It's for shooting. Not that I have any beef with people buying it for whatever reason they see fit.

Where do you shoot where it costs $45!?! I mostly go to Livermore Rod and Gun and it's about $15 for the rifle and pistol range.

And hopefully anybody that shoots regularly has a membership at some local place so it should be even less. My marginal cost of going to Chabot is $7. Total cost including the membership averages out to more like $9.

Anyway, re: .22 being an investment, sure it is but you need to be sensible about it and ask yourself if you're buying "low" or not. I don't have a magic 8 ball but if you're buying from a mainstream store and getting free shipping or just a little shipping past the other stuff you were buying anyway it's probably worthwhile. And if you have a two year supply (whatever that means for you) you can either ignore shortages or even sell into the market a bit and make some quick cash. It's nice to have options.

I'm saying it's $45 for THREE trips. Listing the total cost for 3 trips, because that's about how long a brick of .22 lasts me.

I got a box of the Blazers in and am curious about the appearance---At first I thought they were hollow point as there is a real shiny spot like polished aluminum at the end of the the lead---Do they all look like that??---Like they put lead over aluminum and left a hole on the end??

I pretty sure it's from the tips of the bullets moving and rubbing against the packaging.
