I called to cancel a Cabela's 2/13/14 backorder for a 500 pk of the CCI/Blazer (they shipped me a 1000 pk of the M22 yesterday), but the gal said they were pulling the order and it could not be cancelled. Oh well, I will suffer with another 500 rounds. I am done buying for a long time.

She lied to you. They can do a "delivery intercept" and they can cancel it after it gets back to them.
Even though it wasn't shipped when I called, my package left OH and made it to Vernon, CA before it was sent back. Took about two weeks for the entire process.

Many thanks to the contributors to this thread for giving me the tips (and links) that allowed me to find some .22 ammo.

Just post it in the ammo trades for a brick you actually want.

People don't like M22? I had never heard of it until .22lr became scarce & I haven't gone through my 1,000 but the stuff works pretty darn well. I had to order Remmy "golden bullets" a while back(500-something pack), something I wouldn't touch before the panic buying & I'm looking to cancel my Midway order of their bucket.

I don't remember my box saying "new & improved" but the stuff wasn't all too great. Ok for steel shooting but grouping with them at the indoor range isn't as fun. Hope I stumble on retail priced CCI Blazer. I miss that stuff so much!

This is awesome. I'm just sitting here at my computer reading the local news in my area and I get a strange phone call. It was Natchez calling about an order I forgot I had even made on the 17th. I can't remember what it is right now but I asked the guy if I could get anymore and he said "well its limited per day" I said "yeah but its 9 days from my last order" he goes "oh, yeah lol".

So he tried to get me some more ammo, and all I hear is "dang it, its yanking it away from me as soon as I place the order", "let me try for these", "what the heck!?", "wow this is selling out fast", "here is some other stuff", "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!", the whole time I'm laughing about his comments, the awesome guy is still trying to grab me more ammo, "here we go 50rds of Blazer", "wait thats bullcrap, let me try for this 333 Winchester", "dang it the 333 is out now", "oh Freshfire cans let try those", "I can't believe this is happening!", I'm still laughing and refreshing their ammo page trying myself to get some at this point and having it yanked out of my cart, then I hear "WILL YOU GUYS QUIT TAKING ORDERS FOR 5 SECONDS!!!!" he finally snags me about 650 rounds of I don't know what, but 350 is CCI/Blazer lol

I thanked the guy repeatedly. Never ever had this happen. The whole time only Freshfire showed up on the computer and none of the other stuff.
