New here, just found this forum last week. CA resident studying Medicine in Vegas right now. Just picked up a Marlin 60 w 3-7x20 scope and a M&P 15-22 with fore grip and bipod 2 weeks ago. iron sights for now. waiting on a green laser and red dot.

Just wanted to say thanks! Been looking for ammo since I bought the guns 2 weeks ago and finally was able to score 3 bricks of blazers on different days last week. Also ordered the choot ems cci swamp people but now on BO, might cancel since it was like .11 per round after shipping. Just got in another order for 1500 CCI AR tacticals, $135 shipped with 24FLAT promo code. Hopefully they actually ship and i'll be set!

I've been using the brass badger android app and website to find stock in the local walmarts with no luck. Things come in stock the night before and seem to never even hit the shelves. Something is definitely up, boxes go in and out of stock online all week yet some employees say they haven't seen any 22lr come in a 'long while'. I'm pretty sure theres some low key connections scooping all the walmart ammo haha. Especially since I see people flipping bulk boxes etc on arms list every few days for double the price.

A birdie told me the true hoarders and flippers are ordering 5k to 1 million rounds at a time direct from manufacturer to their house.... this came from CCI Sales rep.

but people blame this thread lol

I think I posted that thread several pages back, regarding the CCI reps conversation with a customer questioning him as to why there is still a shortage of .22 LR.

That's a pretty bad failure of logic. The current inventory of the flippers was taken from the normal sales inventory. It can be reintroduced as you mention but whatever hasn't been yet has been taken from the market for the express purpose of adding cost without adding value. The current flipper inventory could end the shortage today. Those who stock up are the only guard against flippers crashing a market.

You anti-flippers are just crazy. The added value is you get to buy it from him or not. He waited in line to buy the ammo and is offering his time and money to get it to you.

Have you complainers ever thought it could be the manufacturers who are creating the shortage or do your brains only work in a vacuum? If I manufactured .22 ammo and I could release a little here and a little there to make maximum profits I would. This is a cruel world here and if you don't like it, move on. I am tired of hearing your belly aching about some guy who may not even have a job who waits at China-Mart to flip some ammo to put food on his table.

Cry a river somewhere else. I am for a FREE COUNTRY in every aspect not ones that benefit ME or YOU!

I vote, you can do whatever the **** you want with your ammo.... you bought it.... it is yours.... if you want to hoard it, then do so.... if you want to shoot it, then do so.... if you want to sell it at a premium, then do so.... this is america do whatever you want with your property unless it can harm others or it doesnt pay the tax man.... LoL

but for the love of god why do any of you think that only your way should be allowed.... talk about verbally infringing on each others rights

BS. Had they not cleared the shelves just to price gouge, I could have purchased it myself. Second, most of them are welfare leaches that don't have jobs getting in the way so they can waste hours standing in lines, but that is time I'm forced to pay for that they are supposed to be spending finding employment, not finding ways to screw over those that work for a living.

Manufactures have only had slight increases in price based on materials and labor increases.

Except for when somebody chooses to point out when something is unethical of course. I never said they should be forced not to flip, just that I think they can FOAD. I refuse to associate with scum. That is my freedom. I support ways to counter them. That is my freedom. When people suggest that those who don't just buy what they will shoot in the next week and wait until it is gone to buy more and that they are the problem, I point out the failure of that logic. That is my freedom. It has been made explicitly clear that banter is welcome here. There is another forum with another thread for those who don't like that.

If I had one round of ammo for everytime I've heard someone complaining about the flippers I wouldn't need anymore ammo. Yet with all that complaining it doesn't seem to change things.
