Let me ask you this. How many boxes/cans, for example the 325 nitro cans, that we buy for $19 before shipping, would these "other" people need to sell at $50+ to cover the fee of joining. Of course these "other" people would join too. There's too much money to be had in the resale of 22lr.

Put your thinking caps on and see if there isn't a better, more fool proof way.

I believe that "contribution" shouldn't just be monetary.

There are just a few of us (Calamity Sue included) that actually post actionable ammo links on a regular basis. We need to not only be encouraged to continue this, but also try to encourage new members to post valid ammo links.

As others have mentioned, the entitlement crowd is getting out of hand here.

This crowd wants actionable ammo links to be the only thing posted here, so it is more convenient for them to click and buy when they receive a posting email.

I agree. Going through the thread I see a lot of good post from Calamity Sue (actually Sue's Husband!) and others. Why would you break this up and try and make it a contributor only section? We are all (mostly) part of the CG network. Us non "contributors" would start a new thread and the Contributors would need to check two threads.

I don't get into the thread often but do appreciate everyone's efforts here.

My idea of making it invisible to the general public like OT. Meaning you cannot see this thread unless you are a member of calguns.
Try it. Go to the site without logging in and you'll see the OT is not there. Only members can see it.

I have tried to answer questions and post the status, order/ship dates of my stuff for others in same waiting game.

Bottom line is the money goes to the foundation to help with all gun related things, to run this site, etc. If you look around, and I know there are some new members here, there are a lot of resources here. You can ask legal questions and usually get a response back quickly. Its only $29 a year and I am due to contribute. I use the flowcharts a fair amount because Ca. gun laws are nuts. My $.02.

Yup, you're right about that. It's ironic, but Pennys dad is the one who started this thread, which clearly has benefited a lot of people, including leechers. Now he is suggesting it be turned into an exclusive club. But I guess there's no easy answer to the problem.

Yes i did that exact thing the other day.

I accidentally ordered the fresh fire twice the other day. I just acted naive and was like "I put in two orders by accident and I saw the 1 per day thing and didn't want to get in trouble!" Sweet talked the girl and she was real jovial about it.

She said she couldn't do anything about it though , and that if there is a double order it will get cancelled anyway. But she did put notes on the ordering saying I was trying to fix it I believe.
