They have so many on back order, I would be surprised if they would be taking orders on 'buckets' (and deliver within a few days). Last I heard from CS, they have over 2,000 'buckets' on back order to fulfill going back last summer..

Take this statement to the bank: Cabela's customer service does not know what they have or don't have. All they know is what's on the screen before them. They have offered and shipped buckets at least once a month since last summer. If they do have 1000 back orders, they must be ignoring them, because I've bought 2 buckets since fall and passed them up several times.Comment

I have the same discussion with every forum I'm in. As shaky is my witness, you are wasting your time with CS. If you want your hard earned order canceled, then call CS. Even if you don't want it canceled, they will, because if you ask them a question about anything that I or shaky or win have posted, CS knows NOTHING about it. It will not show up on their computer so they will assume it was a mistake and cancel it. CS is totally worthless. Cabelas, in my opinion, and I have at least 300 orders during the past year, honor their BO's under several conditions. If they receive EXACTLY the same item, they WILL fill BO's first. I've seen it time and again. I've also noticed when something is available, the phrase "first in, last out" occurs to me many times. I was one of the first in for the buckets a few days ago. Mine have just tonight been shipped, but they will be shipped unless you have ordered more than one. Sometimes you get away with it. Remember, CS see's the screen you see if you go to Cabelas "rimfire". There is rarely anything there. They NEVER see our "chart" or our auto adds.

What Shaky & Calamity said is 100% true.
Don't call Cabela's Customer Service for anything but cancelling an order or a billing problem. They don't know anything and every single time I've called about an order I had, it was cancelled. Every time I called about something in stock and couldn't order it (due to browsing on my phone) they said they didn't have anything in 22, but when I came back to my computer and read posts on here, large numbers of you forum members were able to purchase the ammo hours after the Customer Service rep told me they didn't have 22.
Don't even bother with calling them unless you have a billing problem or you want your stuff canceled.Comment
