paid that for it, bidding started at $100!Reality check: Someone was asking $275 for a bucket or some knucklehead actually paid $275 for a bucket?
On a related note, I heard at the shooting range this morning someone bought a bucket off of Armslist for $160. The top of the bucket was sealed with shipping tape so the trusted buyer didn't bother to see what he was buying. Buyer got home, opened the bucket and it was a couple layers deep in ammo. The remaining 98% of the bucket was sand.

I always just hit the flag item as over priced on armslist, it only takes a few for armslist to remove the postComment

Rich folks, not just people with money, but rich, value their time. They don't have time to look for codes, or use rebates or hunt for a lower price. These are the people that those sites are catering to.
If you had $500 million would you hunt for a deal or just throw down $300? In my opinion it is still gouging as long and the manufacturers have not raised the price and Cablela's still sells buckets for $59.
I guess some of them pay people to find deals for them and most probably pay someone to do their shopping most of the time, even for ammo.Last edited by Yankee495; 01-27-2014, 5:09 AM.Comment

No problems for me either, except that there's no ammo.

Probably affected by the weather (snow and ice storms ) in the east. I'm in Ohio and we've had 12 inches of snow and now wind and frigid temps, so the servers out my way always slow down/overload with people. Cabela's is down for me too.
For those in the west with better weather, their servers are probably just fine.Comment

Now's the time for Cabelas to list a bunch of ammo. The two biggest buyers in the country are DOWN. Let the ammo flow.Probably affected by the weather (snow and ice storms ) in the east. Yes, that!! My sister used to call me and ask me why a site didn't work. I ask her, have you heard about the tornado in Wichita? She would say Yahoo works!!! So what, where is the site located?Probably affected by the weather (snow and ice storms ) in the east. At first it was my internet is not working. After 20 minutes I would find out it was just one site...duh...
Anyway, nytimes.com and nydailynews.com is down for me too. I'm near Joplin, Mo so it looks like no ammo for me this morning. I'm glad I ask and I thought I should let everyone know. I could've got some more
