and I also suspect that by now, most of the thread regulars are stacked up to their rafters in .22 so there shouldn't be much complaining about email notifications for non-ammo link posts..

What we've seen historically is that the people complaining are flipping ammo so a) it's not enough to have enough to shoot, they want more-more-more and b) they're not really participating here so they don't get any enjoyment out of the banter.

If you go back half way through the thread it's interesting how many people posted finds daily that don't anymore. And while I can only speak for myself it's clear from others postings that we find some of the rudeness here to be extremely demotivating.

Clearly I'm in the minority so my apologies. I don't flip, and I don't mind banter. It was my opinion (and clearly a minority opinion) that since the forum doesn't support notifications for each message (only the first since you last visited) that having a watch list thread separate from a curse the flippers thread would be a good idea. I'd happily participate in both, and the only reason I haven't posted a few deals is others have beat me to it. Sorry if I contributed to anybody's demotivation. It wasn't intended (this time ).

I shoot, flip and give away. The banter and trash talking are great. Checking new alerts makes my day at work go by a little quicker.

I'd post up some finds but this group usually gets them up quicker than I can copy and paste..
