Does anyone have any problems with the Cabellas links that are posted up?---When I open the last couple posted my cart fills with 21 ammo items and you have to remove each one separately, ( there is no empty cart button for Cabella )---It seems like whoever posted the link had all this stuff in their cart and by opening the link it transfers to your cart????

My comfort level is 4K but honestly without a steady supply I think we are all a bit more conservative right now. If I'm taking a new shooter to the sport than that supply is going to empty much quicker. If I ever build that AR22 it just would not last very long.

When it comes to pistols I prefer shooting centerfire but when it comes to rifles rimfire is much more fun (yay for free drop mags!)

I don't get a chance to build up ammo, that's my 12yo girl with her 15-22, when my other 2 girls go out with me as well it does not take long at all to shoot thru 5000 rounds, I don't shoot any 22 myself only the kids.

Seems every time this question is asked, the response begins with "my goal WAS..." My goals have been passed more times than an old lady on the freeway, but still buying. Not buying everything I see though, by any means. Not even buying all the good buys. I'm shooting on a pace of around 8-9K a year on .22, and 4K on 9mm, so at least I get some use out of it.

I normally kept it in the 8-10K range, and these last couple buys have been my first since everything stocked out like a year ago. I'm down to about 2K in hand because of how much I hand out to people that were the buy as you go variety. Keeping the stock that high meant things like appleseed didn't get shelved, and buddies got to keep shooting. I'll gradually build it back up as normal priced ammo trickles in.

Seriously nice paint job on that, and bravo for teaching her at that age.

On Wiki arms Midway has 3330 rounds of Winchester 333 on back order for $164 with an estimated delivery date of 3/7/14. Midway also has 5,000 yards of Winchester X for $333 with an estimated delivery date of 8/24/14. I took the plunge on both. If I can get them then I'll have enough to share with people.
