Sometimes Cabelas overbook the items and put you on a backorder even though it accepted the payment. I was backordered on the CCI for about two weeks and they just shipped it. No complaints.. Sure beats waiting in line in Walleymart with a bunch of other nuts for an hour hoping there would be something on the shelves worth buying.

Which CCI did you buy? I have 6 boxes of 375 rounds of CCI Mini Mag backordered from 2/7/13 with an estimated fulfillment date of yesterday but they are still backordered.

At LAX Firing Range, on way out noticed Winchester 333 at I think about $35 or so, also Federal Premium 500 but pricey. I'll wait till the madness subsides.

It doesnt show on their main rimfire page, but Cabella's seems to have Golden Bullets in stock:

Don't know how useful it is with a limit of 1 box (100 rounds), but its some ammo!

At LAX Firing Range, they had cases of AE .22 LR 500 round bricks for $50.00 each and cases of Federal .22 LR 525 round bricks for $50.00 each. They also had buckets of Remington Golden Bullet .22 LR 1400 rounds for $129.99 each, but the buckets were going fast.

Well Midwayusa's Product Arrival Notification is worthless.
I was checking my email because I am waiting to here from a freind.
No more than 30 seconds had passed, I get the Product Arrival Notification.
I log on and see "Sorry we are already sold out"
From the time I got the notice to the time I logged on not more than 1 minute passed. You can't even place an order that fast.
So basically they were sold out before they even sent me the email notice
Why even send the notice if you are already sold out

I agree. I signed up for quite a few of those. Only one worked out and I got a brick of Aguilla SSS 60gr I'd been wanting to try.

I've had better luck just off the tips I see posted here.

Don't even bother with Midway. I was able to buy some ammo from them a few days ago so held off buying some other that I found. But this morning received an email from them that they had oversold what I bought and they were cancelling my order. Their service sucks!!

...has added Eley Match at 13.99 for 50 ct.

                        Everyone else is basically:

Cheap stuff everyone wants is now just as expensive as Match quality but unavailable.

Match quality stuff that no one wants just sits there price unchanged.

Got thirteen vendor windows open just in case...

                        =8-)
Yeah....been buying up as much of the higher end ammo when I can find it since it is the pre panic pricing. I saw some armscor .22 atCTD for 150 a brick!!! Might as well buy Eley tenex and hit what you're aiming at ....

I just ordered a brick. I've never experienced an issue with them, but each rifle is unique.

Thanks for the tip, my order just went through to Midway for the Rem subsonics, 34 per brick +16 shipping, so $50, which seems more or less going rate for a brick these days in the bullet economy. I wonder if supply will eventually surpass demand and the good old days of $10 bricks will return?
