I have Ammo..

What's the legality on shipping ammo? I bought some at a gun fair, "CBee hollow point 22lr" but didnt pay attention to the part that said "not for use in semi automatic weapons".. So now I have 200 brand new sealed in box and another 95 in an opened box.. So 295 rounds that I can't use.. Id sell them for what I paid if soneone interested and it's legal.

palmetto state armory has Federal .22lr 38gr HP 400 rounds for 22.99.. just got mine!

I can never order ammo from them. Site just keeps going down when they have any ammo in stock.

whoot ! Got an order at palmetto to somehow go through for 2 boxes of the AE22s. I had to keep reducing my quantity from 5 down to 2 to get it to not say the quantity is invalid ( guess they didn't have enough). Then when I submitted the order and the "submitting order information" kept going for more than 20 mins. Finally gave up and tried to just reload the page and still nothing. But it somehow went through during all that waiting I guess as I have received an order confirmation email now. Just hope that I won't get a cancellation later on.

You can ship ammo via UPS ground. Just need to make sure it has the ORM-D sticker on it. With regards to the ammo, you can still use it but it won't cycle and automatically load the next round. But you can still manually load the rounds and it should still fire.

You can use FedEx ground as well, just not the post office. I use UPS personally.

My local UPS office likes to see ORM-D stickers on pretty much every side of the box. They have some there if need be but you can also just print out one of these https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0Xy...=sharing&pli=1

I'm not sure if you can use a "UPS Store" or if you have to be a hub - I know some of the stores freak out if there's anything slightly unusual. Even some of the hubs do and if they give you any guff you should refer them to the UPS Hazardous Materials Hotline 1-800-554-9964.
