Like you the shipping costs for just 375 rounds is more than I want to spend. I've considered getting a club card for free shipping but that only works if there is a temporary coupon code in effect, otherwise it's a flat rate of $5, which is great for large orders but only saves a dollar on small orders. In regards to how long this offer has been up may partially be due to the fact that it isn't being listed on the ammo search sites. Overall it isn't too bad of a buy even with shipping but I think better buys will pop up.

Price per round is either there or it is not there. Cabela's normal small order shipping charge is $5.95. Still it is pretty fair, but pushes it over .07 per round - past your threshold, but Automatch is pretty good stuff.

All you need is a Cabela's Card, free shipping code, and three duplicate orders - 975 rounds @ .0553 per round delivered. The card is worth it for reward points alone.

I think buckets of bullets and Federal 2100 cans are coming up soon, and keep an eye out for those Mini-mag 1600 round slider cans - they are FINALLY coming too.

I agree those federal 2100 cans were a smoking deal, even with shipping, probably worth having a club card for. I'll be on it like ducks on a june bug if they come up again. Have also been watching mini-mag 1600 round cans for a couple of months, another great deal if they come up.

You guys on the fence about the Cabela's card should know the app takes minutes on line and you can use it right away. They give you $25 for signing up which makes that CCI Tactical cost you:

$2.99 or .0079 per round

or the Federal Automatch would be -.02 per round - yeah minus two cents

After you get the actual card in the mail you can buy all your large purchases everywhere you can use a VISA CARD (1% back for non-Cabela's purchases) and get lots of free ammo with the return on bonus cash... if you spend tons you can work your way up to 5% return.

There will not always be free shipping, or even $5 shipping... but when the new codes come up you will be able to use them next year.

Yeah it seems like a pretty good deal, but I am going to pass on the ammo and the card on this one. I am only shooting about a brick a month right now and so I like to wait for bulk sales of 1000 or more rounds to pop up. Rare, but worth being patient IMO.

In other news I just clicked an old direct in cart link to M-22s at Cabelas and it says I can order. If someone wants to try it that would be awesome.
