Ammo Finds - Post them here

lurker newb here. Checkout gunbot.net (i'm not affiliated) for ammo online. It doesn't scrape the data from all sites on the net but does a decent enough job.

I've scored both .22LR and 9mm for decent prices considering demand/price gouge. I paid $0.15/round for .22LR Super Max HP 30gr Aguila ammo from SGAmmo.com, and $0.35/round for Ruag 9MM 115GR FMJ from Cabela's.

These prices are a rip compared to even 6 months ago, but the local range wanted $10 for 50 rounds of .22. =\ Looking forward to the price inflation being over, otherwise i'm getting in to the ammo industry and quitting my day job.

I went to my local big 5 today, glad I got there early, his week they only had 2 boxes of the 525 golden bullet and 2 of the Winchester 333 white box, I was able to get 1 box of the 333, not a great deal at .07 cents a round but better than nothing. 2 weeks ago I strolled in a half hour after they opened and they still had 6-8 boxes of golden bullet 525, should have baught that day.

I've never fired this Winchester .22 before, is it normal for the lead to be a little loose? The blazer I have is tight.

Interesting. I tried to order some, and everything works until the final place order button - gives me a try again later error. I eventually gave up even though it still shows in stock. I'll have to keep an eye on the credit card - given my luck I'll get ten orders worth!

Huh. I was in the same boat as you guys. I placed an order for 15 boxes and it errored. I went back and did 10 and it went and sat at processing for 15 minutes. Finally gave up figured it wasnt ment to be and closed the window. Came back from using the Loo at work a few minutes ago and had an order placed reciept from PSA in my inbox. WIN!!!! I guess I got 1000 CCI mini mags coming to me, well solong as it doesnt get canceled.

.22 LR is now ridiculous. I scored 15k rounds last month, only 4k this month so far and now all of my sources, both Internet and in person, have dried up. It's weird, I am finding primers, powder, projectiles, 7x62x39, .223 and 9mm, but .22 LR is really, really scarce.

I walked into my LGS and saw almost 4,000 rounds sitting there. Almost $0.10 a round...for Federal Auto Match, Blazer and Golden Bullets. Same price across the board. I have had a few people ask me to find them some so I'm passing the savings on. Ouch.
