The fact that I didn't buy .22 for about 3 years and just worked off my surpluses didn't contribute to the shortage. You might argue that my decision to rebuild stocks is, but to nutts with being ammo less for this long. My stocks are back up and I'm only looking for odds and ends (40gn CPSHP and maybe a bit more lead free are the only stragglers on my hot list), so I'm just here for the entertainment and to help people find ammo.

Said "normal shooter" dad who wants to take his son shooting is welcome to pay the gougers or play the few games there are for getting ammo at a decent price. .22 is still too cheap and easy to keep stocked out by gougers whose lives exist and revolve around hoarding and flipping as much inventory as they can control, and this method of prodding sites, and threading finds gives actual normal people the only viable alternative to paying ransom for ammo. I guarantee every last round purchased off this thread by normal people could have just as easily been snatched by gougers and kept out of the open market.

I know you meant no offense, but the suggestion was bit comical and the responses are just reflecting that.

I'm just saying the stores will the get inventory we were diverting via the cart links. It will still be sold, just not on line with our old cart links.

Very true. Here in FL I'm 1000 miles or so from the nearest one. In NV I'm 500 miles from the nearest one. One way that's good, for FL. I don't pay tax. I do in NV but if I have it shipped to Eugene, OR where I usually visit once a year, I don't. But, I have to pay shipping in NV. No way will they ever get rid of their online ammo sales unless Osama forces them to. Or in Calguns case, Pipsqueak or .... what's her name forces them to.
