If it goes away, you all only have yourselves to blame... This was a good thing for many people for several years, but it got too big and too many people in the know. At the end of the day, we will still get ammo, it will only be slightly harder.

It's possible that Cabela's completely removed the "Email your Cart" feature. It's also hard to imagine why that would benefit them, considering they sell a lot more than just 22lr. Doing this would eliminate a major sales and marketing tool.

I agree that if they did eliminate the cart feature then this just means different approaches will be required. Also remember that this technique has never been breaking any rules of any kind. It's just using the tools provided by the seller in order to make it easier to buy their stuff.

If they want to make it harder to buy their stuff, that's fine. (It does seem bizarre that retailers want to make it harder to buy their stuff, but people do bizarre things). That just means it will be comparatively easier to buy other peoples' stuff.

OR they could just be doing maintenance!

Either way, it's not like a major 22lr manufacturer has closed their doors or anything. The supply still is what it is.

my thoughts... if it ain't back up (the email your cart feature) in the next couple of days, we should inundate them (customer service) with phone calls and emails DEMANDING that they return the feature... if they pulled it cause of a few calls what would they do if they get even more calls for its return...

What exactly is this Email Your Cart feature and how are people using this to snap up all of the 22LR? Also, where is the 22LR on Cabelas site (I can't find anything under Handgun, Rifle, or Bulk in their Ammo menu)?
