Kinda looks that way. Too many folks didn't put their money where their mouth is. Just acted on the posts previously posted by other concerned members. Kinda put up or shut up I guess. A few contributors found their way. That was or is the only way to password protect the ammo finds site which was many member's were concerned about that all this site's information is being posted in other forums and Facebook.

Just some bad apples on the tree! I think folks were getting pissed that people were taking away from this thread rather than supporting it.

I think the thread is going great! I enjoy reading all the chatter then when all the ammo hits all the chatter stops and people post finds just like earlier when the federal bricks were in and out ...then back to chit chat... and repeat.

Ignore all the problem causers and they will get bored and go away...

No, he's referencing me because I started a ammo finds thread in the contributors lounge which means you have to be a calguns contributor to access. I started the tread because there was a lot of *****ing that people were announcing all our finds on facebook and other forums such as smith & wesson. But appears not everyone wants to contribute to calguns (donate money for the cause) to protect information on this open forum. No skin off my nose, I just had the balls to do what other wouldn't. I enjoy this forum a great deal, have acquire over 35,000 rounds since becoming a member and hope to acquire more, yes, I'm a hoarder but, not a flipper, I'm looking out for my family's future, assuring my son will have all the ammo he'll ever need.

No one party owns it except maybe Cabela's.

As I stated repeatedly over the past few days - it's not a backdoor and the cart retrieval method has been know Internet-wide as far back as November 2009.

Other forums were talking about and sharing the method long before it ever arrived here...

Since Cabela's owns it - they also have the power to destroy it - should they ever decide to get around to doing so.

My advice? Play nice - create your own links instead of sharing one with others 10,0000 times over - their servers will hum along - chances are they'll focus on higher priorities staving off the eventually shut down of the cart retrieval method.

Do you think they have a clue to how this information is accessed. I mean they gotta be wondering how or why the ammo is being purchased before its even inventoried? It seems to NEVER make it on their website!

They do know...

...and if you call about your order (bad idea) some clerks will ask you if you are using the cart retrieval script.

Luckily, when I called a couple days ago - it was about hiking boots. So no cancellation.

It occurred to me that a good 911-SHTF bail out kit should include quality outdoor shoes for the family. A pair of jeans each as well...
