    I did the "noob_tube with a dremel and too much free time on his hands" trigger job on mine. It is niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!

      I think what we can all take away from this thread is that the stock 10/22 trigger is pretty garbage but almost anything you do to it will make it great!! I like stock trigger parts with lots of silly things done to them.

        For xmas I got the VQ hammer, bolt release, extractor, & mag release. Havent had a chance to take it out yet it but it feels great. Also changed to a Houge overmold stock & Promag recoil buffer. Next up are new sights,cant decide between tech sights and williams peep/firesight.

              Since it seems several of you have taken the replacement hammer path, would anyone care to donate their stock hammer in the name of experimentation?

                I have a surface grinder and I can modify stock hammers to match the sear geometry of a VQ for a reasonable fee.
